Joyelle and Princess Ayzee hit the road to Brave Girl Symposium

July 5, 2016 Joyelle Brandt

I'm hopping in the Prius and hitting the road! Princess Ayzee and I are going on an adventure together, traveling from Port Moody, BC to Boise, ID for the Brave Girl Symposium. And why am I doing this? Because there are going to be some amazing women in Boise. Women who have taught me about painting, about writing, and about life. Women who have inspired me to live an artful life, and who have bravely shared their most vulnerable selves. In short, these are my she-roes. So even though I'm a little nervous to be taking a trip by myself to a retreat with 400 women, I'm also excited about getting to be in the company of Glennon Doyle Melton of Momastery, Melody Ross of Brave Girls Club, artists Kelly Rae Roberts, Flora Bowley, Rachel Awes, and a whole bunch more amazing artists, healers and inspiring people!

I'll be documenting my road trip through Instagram, so if you don't already follow me, hop over there and you can tag along as Ayzee and I attempt to stop at every road-side fruit stand and tourist attraction along the way. I'm leaving town tonight!
